She believes being part of each client’s journey of healing is an honor and that consultation is part of each clinician’s duty to provide the best clinical work but also a mature way to keep an eye on our work and prevent feeling burn out. Carmen has a strong interest in empowering bilingual clinicians who perhaps received their EMDR training in English and/or work with client whose English is their second language to know how to handle the effect of cultural and language barriers in their clinical work. She provides individual and group consultation in person and virtually in English and Spanish As an EMDRIA Approve Consultant, I provide consultation to EMDR trained clinicians who are working their certification in EMDRIA.
